Restoration Details

The restoration was started approximately three years ago and completed in September 2025.
The 1965 Chrysler 300 convertible used a body on frame construction, specifically Chrysler’s full size unibody frame with reinforced convertible substructure. The front portion of the frame is described as a front crossmember assembly, consisting of heavy gauge steel side rails joined by multiple crossmembers. The front crossmember (No. 1) serves as the main structural support for the suspension, steering gear, and engine mounts.
This assembly was removed, disassembled, sandblasted, and finished in black powder coating, along with several smaller components. The engine was disassembled and rebuilt, including new camshaft, lifters, bearings, and fully reconditioned cylinder heads. .
