1955 Chevrolet 3100 Red

1955 Chevrolet 2nd Series 3100 1/2 ton short bed pickup. Fully restored to like-new condition. The engine is the Original 235 cubic-inch inline 6-cylinder that has been completely rebuilt. The original 3-speed transmission and rear end have been gone through and fully serviced with any necessary parts replaced to assure reliability. The suspension on this truck has also had all necessary parts replaced to assure safety and good drivability.

The primary paint finish is Gypsy Red with the roof of the cab painted a medium silver to break up the red and give it a more enhanced look. The interior has been done in colors to match the exterior. The truck's bed floor has been restored with new oak wood boards with new polished steel cross sills to further enhance the appearance. Wooden side bed rails have been installed with Texaco signs to add a touch of nostalgia.

The wheels are original with the trim rings and center hub caps with a new set of Goodyear wide whitewall tires. This truck also has completely new headlights, turn signals and tail lights with chrome housing. Both the front and rear bumpers are new.

It has a chrome front grill, chrome hood ornament, chrome door handles, chrome outside rearview door mirrors, chrome Chevrolet hood emblem with a red Chevrolet bowtie logo.

The exhaust system has been replaced. The gas tank was replaced along with a new fuel sending unit. A new master brake cylinder and brake lines were also added to assure good braking. The battery was also replaced October 2024.
